Services

I help you understand the investor mindset to build lasting relationships - and close deals successfully.

Raising investment isn’t just about your pitch deck — it’s about being able to effectively negotiate by understanding investor priorities, knowing what a good deal looks like, and speaking their language to work together effectively. I like to think of investing like a marriage (they’ll like be on your CAP table for about seven years, after all!) And like any successful relationship: communication is key. I give founders honest, actionable feedback that helps them understand crucial terms so they can negotiate effectively. Whether you’re prepping for a raise, struggling to convert warm intros, or simply want to understand what your funding options are — you’re in the right place. No jargon. No fluff. Just expert insight from someone who knows how investors think and how you can position your business effectively.

"Charlotte was amazing at helping us identify our latest investor. She is brilliant at building relationships, has strong knowledge of the investment process, and was a trusted advisor on the fund-raising process. I would strongly recommend working with Charlotte."

"The ‘Demystifying Due Diligence’ session with Charlotte Scott, James Robson, Ben Davies and Rebecca MacDermid was by far the most helpful session of the day for me. The panel walked us through loads of due diligence challenges and red flags that come up during the investment process. What made it so good was the red card/green card game Charlotte ran. She threw out real-life scenarios founders have faced during due diligence and the panel of investors had to quickly vote – red flag (unlikely to get investment) or green flag (likely to move forward). No fence-sitting allowed! And even better, they had to explain their decisions straight away. It was brilliant because we all know people form opinions quickly, and investors are no different."
