STOP WASTING TIME WITH A POOR PITCH DECK

Tired of being ghosted by investors? Frustrated by generic responses? Struggling to raise investment?

Get your pitch roasted by an ex-VC and understand what investors really think — before you waste another meeting.

Cut through the BS and find the right funding, faster.

Get instant investor feedback on your deck and a tailored action plan.

You need help to raise investment, but don't know where to start.

You’re probably frustrated at the fundraising process and  convoluted business support landscape – and getting nowhere.

Investors are resource poor: they don't have time for feedback.

Investors spend an average of 90 seconds on a pitch deck.

You only get one chance at a first impression.

When your business is on the line, you can’t afford to mess it up.

So where do you go? 🤔

THAT'S WHERE I COME IN

Hi, I’m Charlotte. 👋 I help Entrepreneurs fundraise in less time.

I’ve worked on the equity team of one of the UK’s most active VCs, built 3 angel investor syndicates, and deployed debt finance for the British Business Bank. As an investor, I desperately wanted to nurture high potential start-ups who weren’t quite ready for institutional investment – but I didn’t have the time. When you’re writing cheques, investment is a numbers game. As you know – when you’re on the other side of the table, investment is the difference between your business taking off, creating (or keeping) people’s jobs, or you having to return mind-numbing corporate work.

So I decided to stop navigating the Power Law, office politics, or pitching to Investment Committee. I started Roast My Pitch to help entrepreneurs think like investors and help companies navigate their fundraise instead.

How it works

Here’s the thing: the pitch deck is rarely the issue. Investors can overlook dodgy graphics and poor text alignment if the opportunity meets their fund criteria, but a poorly-defined market? Unit economics that don’t add up or a vague GTM strategy? An unjustifiable valuation? These are much more difficult to overlook.

You’ll benefit from a former investor perspective so you’re not faced with an avoidable grilling in your first meeting – and instead can spend time building a relationship with your investor and negotiating terms.  I’ll identify potential investor challenges, blind spots, and pose guiding questions to help you be as prepared as possible.

Disclaimer: I do not provide financial advice and all opinions are based on my experience and for educational/informational purposes only. I don’t negotiate on behalf of your business. All decisions are your own and I strongly encourage you to seek advice from qualified professionals before making any decisions that may materially affect your business.

Submit your deck online for a one-off fee. No retainers that cripple your cashflow. No long term commitment with little value in return. Just brutally honest feedback and suggested solutions for you to action to immediately improve your proposal.

Not sure if you’re ready? Take this 14 question quiz.

I review your deck and share video feedback going over each slide.

You’ll receive:

Over to you. If you don’t find any valuable information from the feedback, I can refund you – no questions asked.

You can use a free platform like Canva, or I can signpost you to someone who can design it for you if you’re really stuck. Just make sure you know what you want to communicate in the deck before you hand over to a designer – they won’t be able to do the heavy lifting of communicating your proposition for you!
